Carsten Perka is Chairman of the Orthopaedic Department and Director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Surgery at the Charité, University Medicine Berlin. He published more than 375 peer-reviewed papers and co-authored over 30 chapters in medical textbooks, including the comprehensive standard work "Periprosthetic Fracture Management". Perka is currently President of the German Association of Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery, Secretary General of the German Society for Endoprosthetics and Speaker of the German Endoprosthesis Register.

Norbert Haas was Director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Surgery, Department of Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery and Department of Orthopaedics at the Charité, University Medicine Berlin until his retirement in 2016. He was president of numerous scientific societies and the AO Foundation President from 2010-2012. As an early member he has a long active history in the AO Foundation which continues.

Daniel Berry is Professor at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where he was Chief of Orthopedic Surgery for the past ten years. He served as Director of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, as the Chairman of the Maurice E. Müller Foundation, President of the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, President of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and President of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Keith Mayo is Clinical Professor at the Hansjörg Wyss Endowed Chair for the Advancement of Hip and Pelvis Surgery in Seattle, WA. His 30 + year career has encompassed all aspects of hip and pelvis care including complex trauma, joint replacement and a progressive focus on hip preservation. He has a career long involvement in surgeon education and clinical research and is involved in numerous associations.
