Intraoperative imaging: interactive presentations and posters available for faculty use in their local training programs

The AO imaging education taskforce has developed a series of presentations and posters for all faculty to use to help train residents and colleagues on the standard views for intraoperative assessment of reduction and fixation.

The current anatomical areas are proximal humerus, elbow, distal radius, proximal femur, knee, and ankle.

The posters and presentations are now available for download and we would appreciate all feedback about the materials, including how faculty members use them.

Additionally, AO Videos offers many archived imaging videos and webinars for trauma and spine.

The AO imaging education taskforce thanks all faculty members who contributed to the development and peer review of the materials, as well as Siemens Healthineers for the continuing educational grant that enables delivery of educational events and creation of educational resources on this topic.

In addition, these materials are being integrated into AO Surgery Reference. Faculty are welcome to use the illustrations and information in their AO presentations and their local educational activities.
